updated mine today to 4.4.2

My first sd-card is a samsung 16GB C10. after a few months of using it the "preparing sd card, mounting and un-mounting" appeared. I will try to get a cheap 8gb just to test and see if it last longer. I hope this problem was fixed with the S4. I'm due for an upgrade by the end of the year.

Well, Sandisk have confirmed their problem but my burned SD cards were Samsung and Transcend. Both were totally dead and can^t be read by any OS.

In the span of 18 month my S3 fried 2 sd cards (samsung 16gb - 10mo and transcend 32 gb-3mo). I am now running my phone with the built-in 32gb. This is obviously a hardware problem.

Yes i know but ODIN does not recognized it, this is my third try pulling out the battery. i will post an update if it works. UPDATE: OK now it worked. after 4 tries the COM port now was detected.

But you won't lose too much battery on an 7 hr sleep with the always on setting. I go to sleep with my S3 on 98% and wake up with 92-94% battery left even with received messages from 3 email accounts and other notifications. <-------------------------------> Sent from my S3 using Tapatalk
