i would agree with you regarding the aspect ratio, i much prefer a wide screen 16:9 or similar. But the S1 is also already too dated (almost the same as my old tabpro, it just has more ram and amoled instead of ips screen).
Unfortunately all newer tablets are have ipad aspect ratio that sucks...
some good points there. thanks.
the price doesn't apply to where i live tho, both cost around the same here now.
but the specs look a bit better, the screen on the asus is not amoled but looks pretty good too. thanks.
hi all,
i have a 10" galaxy tab pro that still works but is starting to feel to dated.
looking for a replacement and these 2 seem like the best options now.
the s2 was pricier but it's older and the prices currently are close (at least in europe) to the ones of the zenpad.
so which do you think...
i agree ezpdf is good and has lots of features, best if you need to do some annotating or other less common functions but for pure reading/browsing mupdf is much faster, i very rarely use ezpdf since i tried mupdf.
I have an original note 10.1 and i'm wondering if any of you have upgraded and if you think it was worth it.
The s/w looks quite different, maybe a question of personal taste.
I think the best part will be the resolution increase but i'm not sure if you notice it that much.
thx
I would have considered the Nexus 10 if it was sold in my country (which is not), but, even so, i read that the Nexus 10 might not be as fast/smooth as the Note due to the higher resolution.
tried lecture notes yesterday, looks clean and simple but i still feel the tracking lags a bit if you move the pen faster. if i write as i would on a normal paper it can't keep up completely. I tried the character recognition "keyboard" and it also fails to recognize most of my handwriting...
I have my Note 10.1 for around 6 months now, i use it daily and i'm happy with it regarding smoothness and performance but i can't find use for it's specific features. I use it like i would any other android tablet.
Some of the specific features i'm talking about which i don't use:
Spen: it...
I use it every morning, while having breakfast, to check the front page of the daily newspapers and check some feeds with Feedly. :)
I also use it daily to watch tv while having lunch/dinner and also browsing, playing some games.
I went for the Note 10.1 because (at least a few months ago) it was the best performing android tablet. Smooth and no lags.
I previously had an asus TF300 and it lagged a lot. The nexus 10 was not availble in my country and i read about it being less fast/smooth due to higher resolution.
The...
i'm also coming from a TF300T and noticed a big difference with the Note.
The whole user experience (even if you don't use the S-pen) is much better, much more stable, smooth and faster overall.
I don't use the s-pen tho, it looks interesting but i mostly use the note on some surface (table...
Thanks for the suggestion but i mentioned at least 7FT, maybe 6FT would be enough.. but 4FT is still too short, that's just 1FT more than the original cable.
