Does anyone know how to turn off the auto-connection to the "attwifi" networks? I un-check Settings -> Wi-Fi -> Advanced -> Auto connect, but whenever I select it and go back, it's always checked again. (I'm on V16 and had the problem with V14 as well.)

Is it worth rooting and flashing a different ROM now, given that an official Lollipop build is just around the corner? I just got a used AT&T Note 3 with 4.4.2 on it, but if a whole bunch of changes are going to be made to the fundamental system (e.g. device encryption, possible new kernel)...

Yes, it only has a micro-HDMI input (and comes with a micro-HDMI to HDMI cable).

They are both (the monitor includes a USB cable so that you can use it as a touchscreen; very handy with Windows 8). Unfortunately, the refurbished one I bought has real issues with the touchscreen (only registers a touch half the time, often in the wrong place, can't drag, ghost presses)...

Any updates? Acer started to unload refurbished ones on eBay, and I've got one arriving tomorrow!
