Post Android 8.0 is coming! Samsung Official

I'm not sure what you have installed on your phone and what kind of tasks you're doing, but since I got my s6 edge I've always been able to make almost a full day using it (music, phone calls, navigation, notifications and so on). Your battery might need to be replaced.

Post Samsung repair center says unit is beyond economical repair

Why don't you just flush a new rom? If you can go into recovery mode you should also be able to into dowbload mode as well. If that's the case you shoul be able to flush an original samsung ROM (download from sammobile.com). Search the forum for a tutorial on flushing samsung rom with Odin :)

Post [ROM][6.0.1][G925F/I] Nexify- Fast and Clean [v2][DPF1]

Great ROM! I'm quite happy with how fast it works and that it saves battery! It appears it has fixed the doze bug for me. However I kind of miss the Samsung stock keyboard. Is there a way to install it?

    Post Android OS Battery Drain

I'm experiencing the same problem. Recently the battery drain has been increasing a lot. For some unknown reason to me, I can't make it pass 16-18 hours of moderate to no usage after updating to the latest firmware updates. From what I can see, there is a Galaxy VR service, which is causing...

Post [ROM][6.0.1][I9100][OFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 13 Nightly Builds

the.gangster You might be right it has something to do with the repartitioning. My previous one had 512mb, but this was not enough for the gapps for Android 6.0. Thus I modified my PIT file to have 1gb /system, 3gb /data and the rest is for the internal memory. The only difference between now...

Post [ROM][6.0.1][I9100][OFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 13 Nightly Builds

I doubt it. I always do "fresh" installation when I upgrade from one version to another. It's just that CM12 didn't do so well on my device. I actually had better experience with CM11 which is strange.

Post [ROM][6.0.1][I9100][OFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 13 Nightly Builds

After repartitioning my i9100 and flashing this rom I noticed performance boost right away! I was using the latest cm12 before, but man - cm13 is really fast on this device! Previously I couldn't use more than 1 app simultaneously and if I start updating apps from google play it could take ages...

Post [ROM][6.0.1][I9100][OFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 13 Nightly Builds

You should probably have a look at this topic. I used this about an year ago and it worked fine on one of my S2 devices (I have two).

Post [ROM][6.0.1][I9100][OFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 13 Nightly Builds

Lysergic Acid thank you so much for bringing Android 6.0 to this old, old phone! The rom seems to be working fine for now. The only problem I have is I can't flash pico gapps - it says I don't have enough space. Is there something I'm missing or I need to repartition the device? Last time I also...

    Post [ROM][5.1.1][I9100] CyanogenMod 12.1 [UNOFFICIAL][06/17]

After using it for a couple of days now, everything seems to be working lightning fast! (as I mentioned in a previous comment) I just wanted to report some random reboots. Every now and then the device just reboots for no reason. Nothing in the log files for now. Is anybody else experiencing...

    Post [ROM][5.1.1][I9100] CyanogenMod 12.1 [UNOFFICIAL][06/17]

It seems to be working fine for me? I wrote this message using swipe. Try looking into the keyboard settings and see if it isn't disabled? :)

i mst sat this seems quite impressive! I've installed the mod and I got ~+250 boost in the score. Things seem to be working much better at the moment. I would like to thank you for still providing support for the i9100! :) Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA Free mobile app

Post [Share] Build.prop tweaks for CM10.1

The suggested build.prop seems to be working really well for my Galaxy S2 i9100 with Dirty Unicorns rom 4.4. I was experiencing some really annoying delays and freezes with my phone, but after applying the new build.prop everything is working pretty much flawlessly! Big thanks to the author!

Post [Kernel] TRIM: Speeding up the Galaxy S2 i9100

I can concur - the mod works fine, although I had the supposedly "brickable" version of my S2 i9100. LagFix took around 40 seconds to complete on all partitions. The screenshots below show the results from AndroBench: After I ran LagFixer I must say my device started running a little bit...
