I don't have the phone so I can't walk you thru it. But guy at Best Buy definitely showed me the feature on the Honor 8 that was on display. It was right there in the settings, I just can't recall exactly under what heading.

So even though the wi-fi calling feature, as shown to me by Best Buy store personnel, can be turned on from the settings, you say that the wi-fi calling does not work? Have you tried to turn it on? Thanks

The Motorola help line says - if you take the phone to t-mobile for activation, they will be able to enable the wi-fi calling functionality. Not sure I believe this since t-mobile store rep told me differently.

No wi-fi calling feature is a deal breaker for me - Motorola/Lenova definitely losing lots of potential sales. If the feature is built into MM then why not have an easy way to turn it on?
