I can confirm the Toolkit worked great on a brand new 10 HD+ even though it was auto-linked to my Amazon account before shipping. I was a bit extra careful, temporarily changed the passwords on my wifi router so it wouldn't connect, verified it shipped with 7.3.1.9, got OTA updated turned off...- The_Gadget_Dude

Great info in the last few pages, my HD 10+ is arriving today to replace my existing Gen 7 HD 10. Simple question, if I do disable OTA updates now I assume I can turn them back on down the road if I want to?- The_Gadget_Dude
