Correct me if I'm wrong, but did a HTC phone ever got support with updates more than 1 1/3 year? Then, the HTC One is to big, the One mini has only 1GB RAM. That on the other side is normally no problem. But... Sense 5 eats away your RAM. HTC had to push the minfree -> less apps in the background.
