I'm 100% sure my S8 says Knox 0x0 but it has partcyborg rom and root, it does not effect it because you are not messing with custom recovery and/or modified bootloaders. Good luck man if you need some help PM me. Note: if Knox is tripped it would say 0x1 instead.

configAPK sounds like the source of your problem as it is a scam apk uninstall.

What's your phone model? You can flash the OEM recovery, the reason I ask for your model is the fact that any USA snapdragon bootloader cannot be unlocked yet so you have no choice but to return to OEM recovery. If you give me your model I'll compile a file to flash that will reinstall your in...

You can just flash the recovery if you don't want to loose everything, if you need a flashable recovery image let me know. Your phones bootloader is most likely locked, same thing happend to my phone when I tried TWRP on it, turns out bootloader was locked.

It worked on my s8 g950u. After I rooted it I then installed Partcyborg rom.
