Post Carrier Unlock T-Mobile? Where to get used SIM?

I don't know who that person(s) are, I'm just a regular customer like everyone else. From what I've seen in threads lately it seems like T-Mobile has gotten more restrictive in their unlocking policies. Finding unlock services on eBay and other locations has been more difficult.

    Post Unlock sim t mobile

Phone can only be sim unlocked with the device unlock app installed on the phone. Unlock the phone first before trying to flash another ROM, the unlock app only works on the stock firmware.

Post Carrier Unlock T-Mobile? Where to get used SIM?

They have a contact with someone at T-Mobile that can flag your IMEI as unlock eligible with the unlock server. ---------- Post added at 11:23 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:18 AM ---------- The app is preinstalled on supported phones only. If your phone does not have the app then it...

Post Low sound volume issue post AT&T Oreo update

Good to hear it works for you as well. Maybe Moto will fix that bug in the next update, there is a lot of talk on the Lenovo forums about Bluetooth issues since the Oreo update.

Post Carrier Unlock T-Mobile? Where to get used SIM?

That error means the device is recognized by the server and can be unlocked when it is eligible. Since you’re not the original owner you won’t have any way of knowing when it will be eligible. The phone could still be on a payment plan or the original buyer could have defaulted. If you need it...

Post Carrier Unlock T-Mobile? Where to get used SIM?

What error message did you receive? There are two kinds; the device is not eligible for an unlock or the device is unknown.

T-Mobile variant here. I notice this randomly too. As best I can recall it only occurs when I disconnect my Bluetooth headphones. Toggling Bluetooth on the phone seems to reset volume levels.

Post Is there a Root Method Without Unlocking the Bootloader?

Agreed, it is doubtful someone would request an unlock code and then not use it. Their policy feels rather hostile. The phone is great especially at its current pricing through T-Mobile. However, it does have screen issues and I'm not convinced the screen on my device is one of the good ones...

Its even worse when you consider it isn't the unlock that voids the warranty, but merely the request for the unlock code.

I haven't rooted this device, but the rule before has always been once you root you no longer take OTAs.

Yeah, me either. Why bother putting a check for updates option in settings if checking for updates does nothing but give you the fist?

Post unable to sim unlock t-mobile Z2

T-Mobile devices require usage on the network before an unlock is allowed. Sometimes they will allow an unlock without use on the network, but since you did not buy the phone from them that most likely will not happen. What is the error message you are receiving? If it is the device is not...
