I would like to report the same behavior. The vibration slider doesn't seem to do anything.

I can confirm this, the phone with this rom (and other oreo roms) lags a lot, when using chrome or the google now feed, and especially Snapchat, it's almost unusable. I'm using Sphynx kernel, and I was on Elemental before that, the lag is still there. I there anything we could be do about it...

I've done all that my friend. I'm trying crDroid now and it feels better even though it encrypted my phone when I first booted, I should have flashed magisk before first boot. The UI is more responsive to touch, I'll see how it does after a full day use, if it slows down I'm going back to 7.1

It is a clean installation for me, with ElementalX Kernel. I tried changing the rendering engine to openGL (skia), that definitely helped, but I wouldn't call the phone smooth, coming from PureNexus 7.1.

I got it working somehow, I had to force reboot my phone once then flashed magisk again and it worked. I love the dark theme in this rom, however I'm getting some weird pink font in certain apps (QuickPic for example), any idea how to fix that? The font is pink even if I don't set the dark...

Is magisk supported in this ROM? I tried v16, v15, v14 and all of them are causing bootloops, device is not encrypted.

If I try to paste a link in the URL bar the app crashes, even in incognito mode, on both my Nexus 4 and 5X

There's not much to begin with, there's nothing really to greenify ... I don't think it's those apps that are causing lag, my nexus 4 has more apps and yet does not stutter. It's not really bad but it's not "buttery". Enabling touch boost makes things run smoother.

I don't have Facebook, messenger or snapchart (Memory hogs). I just use whatsapp and instagram. I've attached a photo of my background processes.
