Hi rassegan, I used linux to write the image to the sdcard, never tried the automated script. good luck fixing your device. Mine died again 3 days ago. It was running just fine when I left it on the table, once I came back it was stuck at the boot animation. Very strange, :\

It was at first trying to use a Transcend Micro SDHC with a Kingston MicroSD adapter which failed to boot. The SD Card I finally used was a 8GB PNY SDHC card which worked flawlessly. Good luck!

It seems I'm doing something wrong or my Xperia Tab is beyond repair. I dd'ed the image to a SD Card and can mount the partitions. unfortunately the tablet refuses to boot from the SD card :( I can see the SDcard from recovery but it's empty when I select it. Any ideas?

All download links are as dead as my bricked Tablet. Is there any chance to get the Service Tools image? I also have some spare time and Linux know how to offer :)
