I solved the issue. But it needs some work. Basically you need to flash 12.0.0.8 vendor after flashing miui12 rom and then use the latest vendor's build and default prop files to trick miui into thinking its using the latest vendor. Then the rom boots and FOD is working.

İf you have root, just delete the asuscamera apk from systemprivapp using doot explorer. Then rename the asus camera 4.00 apk to AsusCamera.apk paste it on system/priv-app/asuscamera/ then set permissions to rw-r-r- then reboot.

You can install lineage or resurrection rom with stock gapps package. Closest you can get to pure aosp and better IMO.

Great Rom! Would Be Awesome If not for the lineage os problems.
