Post [WIFI FIX UPDATED] Nexus 4 Wireless solution/fix!

Uh, yeah. This did it. My test wasn't the most purely scientific experiment, but I went from ~4Mbps down / ~1Mbps up to 10.34Mbps down / 11.27Mbps up. Can't say anything about battery life yet, but it certainly did something magical with my wifi speeds. Edit: PA 3.60 with Franco #142

    Thread [Q] External Microphone

I'd like to do some audio recording (as well as get better audio when recording video) but can't tell what will work with my Nexus 4. Will the iPhone mics work? http://www.amazon.com/Multimedia-IP-IRIG-CAST--Ultra-Compact-Microphone-iPhone/dp/B007517AKK/ Will basic lapel mics work...

Post Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant T959 totally bricked.

After I messed with bootloaders and then tried to get back to stock with Kies I had this problem. I called Samsung and told them that I was just trying to upgrade to 2.2 with their software and they replaced my PCB (printed circuit board) for no cost (including shipping). I have no idea if...

Post Your Favourite Jellybean ROM For The Vibrant So Far

JellyBro is simple and quick. I use it as my daily driver. I had an issue with the camera being laggy, but since flashing the most recent update it's been fine. I have tried using the Devil kernel but had nothing but headaches including my modem getting messed up (had to reflash modem) and...

Post Kernels which work with jellbean?

Devil 103 worked for me, but I had modem problems after messing with the Devil Kernel Config (in Play store). So you might want to keep a CWM flashable KB5 modem on your phone in case. You can find all modems at mediafire.com/modems (click on Samsung). I don't know what 104 is like yet, but...

Post The BEST JB rom for vibrant????

I'm using Jellybro and GPS is about as good as it's ever been for my Vibe. Just "meh." If I open Maps and let it settle for a bit it will lock. Then I can go into Endomondo or Navigation or whatever. But if I go straight to Endomondo and try to do my route it won't really ever lock. ----------...

    Post How to update

I'm guessing we don't want to start down the Kies road. Just in case no one else warns you, don't touch Kies. I hard bricked my phone a few months ago using Kies after having used Odin umpteen times. Luckily Sammy was nice enough to replace my PCB for no cost. They probably won't be doing that...

Post What is the best ics rom? please reply

ICZen to Skankwich ICZen was by far the best ICS for my Vibe. Loved everything stock (except the green theme). Then came CM10 with SKANG and *BAM* there's no going back. Couldn't have been a smoother transition. Followed the same flashing instructions as on rootz for ICZen. My Vibe has never...

Post [APP] Fresco: A drawing app featuring layers and filters. Out on Mon 20 Jun!

Loving this Super fast and accurate on my Vibrant. Love the gestures. Drawing tools are neat and the filters are fun. Options are all easily accessible. Took a minute to figure out how to delete a layer (tried long pressing on the layer). Wanted to save the image with a name - not just save it...

Thread [Q] Unbrick Samsung Vibrant after root and framework-res.apk replaced

UPDATE 2* :D FIXED!!! :( I was following a tutorial on applying a LauncherPro theme and did the following command in terminal as super user: cp /sdcard/framework-res.apk /system/framework/framework-res.apk I was expecting it to prompt me for the overwrite, but it did it without prompting and...
