Snapchat problem Is anyone else having trouble using Snapchat on Dex? It won't display my messages until after I delete all the app data. Not a huge deal; it works fine after that. But this is the only app I have trouble with. I'm using a stock Galaxy S9 on T-Mobile. Tony

You will always need some kind of adapter, but it doesn't have to be Samsung. I use a cheapo USB dock with HDMI on my Galaxy S9 and it works just fine. What would be REALLY nice is Dex over some kind of wireless screen cast. Along with a bluetooth mouse and keyboard, that would be sweet.

Yeah, I figured the touchpad function wouldn't work because it is not a Samsung dock. But it still does if you don't use any other input devices.

My cheap DeX dock works fine Only problem is, it doesn't charge the phone. The dock requires USB power also. Without power, it just mirrors the phone screen. So I just charge the phone in the morning and it would go all day on DeX if I wanted. However, I usually get up and go to meetings...

Wow, thanks a lot! That was very helpful. Unfortunately, I am using FlashFire to flash the deodexed ROM straight from NE3. I got in a hurry and did not flash the OC7 stock ROM first. What harm did I do? Should I start over with flashing NE3?

Hmmm, I am on 4.2.2, but the OP says start from 4.4.x. Should I update the ROM to 4.4.x first?

I am currently using this I537 device on T-Mobile. It is working o.k., but I would like to update the version of Android and use a custom ROM if possible. The phone is rooted on 4.2.2 MF3. I have been doing some reading, and this is my understanding. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong...

Sorry, I should have stated that I have already searched and found a wealth of confusing information. What I am looking for is clarity. However, I was able to install ODIN and find a Sprint ROM for my device. I now have it working on Sprint, at least. I still do not know how to get it...
