I've had no battery issues so don't know what is eating your battery. You can take a look at you battery statistics to find out what uses most of your battery ( settings -> battery -> top right corner -> battery usage -> top right corner -> show full device status) I have not installed gapps...- trancilo

I'm using this rom as daily driver and I never run out of battery when I charge every night. Even when using phone as navigation. And I always have a vpn running. When I forget to charge I reach almost two full days of usage. As mentioned here...- trancilo
