    Post Fingerprint sensor - discussion

Honestly after 2 weeks with this phone, I'm beginning to question whether it has a fingerprint scanner at all. Feel like I may as well just remove my fingerprints and forget it exists.

Post Origami style case for Tab S3?

The tablet itself is full of magnets, they have no effect on the pen whatsoever beyond providing a convenient place to put it when not in use.

    Post Minimum brightness

Oddly, some areas seem slightly darker than others on low brightness, resulting in some faint line gradient looking effects across the screen. Especially noticeable when scrolling through dark content, or opening the notification drawer.

Post Windows 10 at Tab S3

Theoretically there's no reason we shouldn't be able to since it appears to be running on a Snapdragon 820, meaning the drivers for the SoC exist and seem to be working. It would depend largely on how you go about obtaining it, and whether it works with the bootloaders/recoveries we have available.

Post [Q] Cannot boot into recovery or factory reset [SOLVED]

Alright, just flashed recovery, here you go. C:\>fastboot -i 0x0b05 flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.0-tf201-JB.blob sending 'recovery' (7934 KB)... OKAY [ 2.915s] writing 'recovery'... OKAY [ 7.228s] finished. total time: 10.145s Exactly the same input and output as the other times...

Post [Q] Cannot boot into recovery or factory reset [SOLVED]

If the "bootloader is unlocked" text while booting the tablet is to be believe, yes, the bootloader is unlocked and the tablet is rooted. Recovery worked fine a couple years ago when I was using CM nightlies on it, then it just stopped working out of nowhere sometime after I got the current...

Thread [Q] Cannot boot into recovery or factory reset [SOLVED]

Hi xda ! As the title says, my Prime can't get into recovery, and I can't factory reset it from within Android's settings either for some reason. How or why this happened, I don't know. I wish I knew, but it's as if everything related to recovery has just disappeared. It can boot into Android...

    Post [ROM][WIP][PREVIEW] CyanogenMod 10.0 Preview! [Updated 18-08-2012 - NIGHTLIES]

I can confirm that it works, it's just kind of a guessing game without craig's tweaks to show the dock's battery. But the tablet does charge while docked as it's supposed to. Use the tablet undocked for a while, and let it idle in the dock, and I'm sure that you will see the same result, too.

    Post [ROM][WIP][PREVIEW] CyanogenMod 10.0 Preview! [Updated 18-08-2012 - NIGHTLIES]

If a new build is ready/appropriate, then a new build is ready/appropriate. The previous build from today turned out to be very unstable, often force rebooting upon opening the dock, this seems to be fixed in the current build from today. I'd guess that's part of the reason we have two builds...

    Post [ROM][WIP][PREVIEW] CyanogenMod 10.0 Preview! [Updated 18-08-2012 - NIGHTLIES]

New build ( cm-10-20120827-NIGHTLY-tf201.zip ) seems broken, Android system UI and phone crashing on startup and going into reboot loop. Can anyone confirm, or is it just me ? md5 checked in perfect before flashing. EDIT: Scratch that, build is fine. The tweaks posted by craigacgomez for...

Well, this fixed the only problem I had with this ROM, being the dock battery display ! Thanks a ton ! \:D/

    Post TF300 gets JB Update

Without being totally sure or knowing any of the actual technicalities about the screen tearing, I'm going to go ahead and say that I think it's a problem with running the screen at maximum brightness, both with and without Super IPS+ enabled. I got it before too, and I've found that turning...

Post Sony Ericsson will let you unlock the bootloader on new Xperia Android phones

The purpose ? Well they could apologize for selling us an expensive paperweight. But you're right, it's not going to happen. Ever.
