Post [HOWTO] [GUIDE] Repairing corrupted /data partition

As a long time linux admin, I knew my data partition was corrupted the minute my phone started force closing, and I knew i made it worse when I force rebooted. This little trick to run e2fsck from recovery saved the day! thanks!

which nightly are you using? what recovery are you using to flash it?

    Post Official CM10.1 Nightlies!

I'm stuck on that too, with any nightly on get.cm server. I can boot into recovery by booting into fastboot (plug off, plug on, cover led until it's red), and fastboot boot recovery.img I think that CM somehow changes the partitions because it wont boot anything else after you've flashed it. I...

Post Broke my Q trying to install CM10

if you use ./flash-all.sh it will recreate your partitions from scratch, I just did that to my Q. I think the latest CM10.1 nightlies are not booting properly, I've already tried 3 nightlies and none works. flash-all will return your Q to working order as long as you have access to fastboot...

Thread [Q] Nexus Q with CM10.1 not booting [SOLVED]

Solved: it was my TV. So check your TVs! plug your Q's to regular computer monitors instead Hi guys, today i finally bit the bullet and got myself to install cm10.1 on my Q. I'm no stranger to adb and fastboot, and consider myself a fairly advanced user, but i cannot figure this out. I...

Post Netgear WNDR3700 Nexus Q Problems

Just flash the factory image, I don't think that you need to go back to stock firmware, but don't take my word for it. You should be able to flash gargoyle from dd wrt, but I've never tried. Just use the gargoyle images you linked to, factory for the initial flash, sysupgrade for upgrades. They...

Post Netgear WNDR3700 Nexus Q Problems

Try flashing gargoyle firmware, it's based on openwrt, it might help you. I'm using my Q with the same router but without any issues, using openwrt Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app

Post What's your opinion on the Sense 4 UI/Skin. Love it? Hate it? Share!

I really, truly hate it. After using a Nexus One for 2 years, and then a Nexus S, the One V lags so much with better hardware that it's not even funny. Even the N1 with ICS after 2 years of use was way more snappy than my one v straight out of the box. Thankfully MCR Vanilla makes it bearable...

Post [WARNING]Bricking One V is very Easy..WORKING FIX BY GLOBATRON ADDED :D

Can this maybe be used to get s-off? Download mode sounds like something that might be able to write to hboot Sent from my HTC One V using xda app-developers app

Post [ROM] MCR - MoDaCo.one for the HTC One V (Sense + Vanilla - now 2.08 based)

A soft menu button on the top right is terrible. It's way too far away from your thumb, even more so with the new 4.3-4.6 inches phones, and I don't want to use both hands to operate my phone. If ICS had a soft menu button on the bottom, near to where your fingers actually, are, then I would not...

Post [ROM] MCR - MoDaCo.one for the HTC One V (Sense + Vanilla - now 2.08 based)

I also prefer the menumod, the multitasking key doesn't make much sense considering that you can long press home and get it Sent from my HTC One V using XDA

Post [Q] Whats YOUR opinion on the nexus??

No, you are wrong. The htc desire has the exact same digitizer chip as the N1, the Synaptics ClearPad 2000 If your gf's phone doesn't show the typical bug, it's because apparently synaptics shipped an updated firmware in some of the later phones (there are some nexus ones that indeed don't show...

Post [Q] Thinking of retiring nexus one

I "upgraded" to the nexus S a few months ago, really couldn't stand the cheap and plastic feel of the phone, so I sold it and went back to the N1. A few weeks ago I bought an HTC sensation, and I'm now running Opensensation, very happy so far with it. Build quality is superb, and development is...
