I flashed this mod UV-75 on Ship Rom with Stock Kernel, everything seem Okay but how to check It is working with this mod or not ?

As I know Kernel Stock is secured via boot.img base on Ship Rom, so I have to unsecured Kernel before applied this mod or not ?
