Post Xperia XA1 videos in apps (Facebook/YouTube) sharp and pixely

The issue we're experiencing on this phone with video playback is flash in browser. Tried with Chrome, Opera, lightning browser, same issue. In-app video playback is decent. Maybe not as good as other Android phones, but still good enough to enjoy. Flash just doesn't deliver a good experience...

Post how to enable led on moto z play?

This app works perfectly on the Moto Z Play: Moto X LED. Mind you, YMMV, but the LED display on the Moto Z Play looks horrible...It looks like the manufacturer slapped it in there just to say it's there.

Post [ROM][Official][lux] LineageOS 14.1 for Moto X Play

This should be through a thread under Moto E3 Power. I noticed that Squid2 is in Canada, and I have not yet seen or heard of the Moto E3 Power enter the Canadian market (at least with our carriers), and I haven't seen it in squid2's listed devices to his name. If you mail him a phone, he might...

Post System ui tuner in linage os 14.1

No system ui tuner in Lineage AFAIK yet. However, there isn't much benefit to it given the plethora of options in Lineage. You can display battery percentage in status bar settings. For demo mode, assuming you're rooted in Lineage, install root essentials.

Post [ROM][Official][lux] LineageOS 14.1 for Moto X Play

Driving Mode? I've been using stock up until recently on my Moto X Play, which has driving mode feature. On stock, the device would detect me in motion and automatically put me in driving mode, and read sms outloud to me. I see Lineage has profiles built-in, including a default one for driving...

Post [INDEX][Osprey][Merlin] Moto G Factory Firmware Images

I never flashed a Motorola phone without unlocking the bootloader, didn't know it was possible. I get my phone from carrier, and here in Canada we have "buyer's remorse". Phone can be returned to carrier within the first 14 days, 30 minutes talk time, 50 MB's data (whichever comes first)...no...

    Post Help! [solved]

ollieshikarii would need to be able to transfer a file to the SD card (internal storage), which I think requires being able to boot the phone. Rule of thumb, keep all important data on a phone backed up to the cloud, and larger files on a memory card if possible.

    Post Missing Features

#1 Does any phone have a stock feature that does this via WiFi? I know NFC would achieve this, but having NFC would increase the retail price of the moto g. Besides, even on nfc-capable phones, I always leave it disabled to save battery. Apparently your point #2 should be fixed in Android M...

    Post Help! [solved]

Your best bet is taking this to the moto g 2nd gen (Titan) section on the forum, other users of the same phone would be better help for this.

Post Will the Moto G 3rd Gen get Android M (6.0)?

Android M is pretty certain. Expect to get somewhat incremental updates for about a year and half. Even after that last update, you'll still be on the latest Android for another six months (give or take) past release of the latest update since incremental updates don't roll out on a monthly...

Post Why is unlocking the bootloader a complicated process now?

True that! I much prefer Motorola. I only have Linux on my laptop and Odin for flashing Samsung phones is a nightmare outside of windoze. Motorola phones can be flashed via command line with the SDK toolkit on any operating system. I remember having a Galaxy Nexus and once the bootloader's is...

    Post Help! [solved]

Hey I hope you have all your important files and other data clouded or backed-up somewhere. Sounds like you bricked your phone, and sounds like you have a moto g 2nd gen (Titan). Here's a link to the thread on factory firmware images...

Post [INDEX][Osprey][Merlin] Moto G Factory Firmware Images

LTE band 12 I'm just wondering if I were to flash the retail US vs Canada factory firmware, whether it'd make a difference for LTE band 12. I heard that the unlocked moto g 3rd gen (assuming retail US) would not support LTE band 12, meaning no VoLTE on T-Mobile, but would flashing the retail...
