Just for balance... no problems on JellyBeer 4.30 to 4.32 (latest), using NX since 1.3.8b. 1.4.1 is the best so far, very smooth and fast, no problems.

20130329 was perfect. Incredibly smooth and fast, it was a joy just to hold my Note and change screens. Now I am on 20130403 since a few days, and still have the initial impression that it is a bit less responsive. Scrolling and screen changes are just not as addictively smooth as they were on...

Running out of ideas here, so why not - I could assign the ringtone to the copy on external SD for a change and test that for a few weeks.

You are right of course - I got confused because in fact I have my ringtone .mp3 on both SDs just to be sure... will put it in a /Ringtones folder now too for good measure! That'll teach it! I hope.

It is in root on /sdcard (/storage/sdcard1), not in a folder. Rebooting is not the problem for me. My ringtone normally stays fine for weeks, surviving dirty flashes and reboots without problems. And then at some point, in normal operation, poof - gone. As I said, I have been using "Rings...

I am no expert, just trying out things.. What does the ParanoidAndroid Settings/Interface screen in your phone settings say? Do all "size" values say 320? Have you tried reducing them? Other than that, all I know is reflashing...if problem persists, with wipe.

The PA problem (statusbar and notification screen too small) in 20121125 is easy to fix: Just edit properties.conf in /system/etc/paranoid. Change 240 values in first section to 320, reboot. Worked for me.
