You wrong procedure, look this carefully : fastboot boot patch_boot.img not fasboot flash boot patch_boot.img you must write boot not flash. Sent from my Mi A1 using Tapatalk

It's Working Fine. Do not reboot manualy after flashing, let the phone reboot it self.
