Did you try to enable the developer option menu? And if you did, did you had a non removable notification that tells you to disable it? Cause that what happened on the Chinese version... And can you change the default launcher and keep the stock widgets? Thank you in advance

So, I got the android pie update just now, and my oh my, all animation stutters and bugs are gone, the phone is speedy as it should be and as worthy of a flagship, thanks to the added performance mode... I'll post another comment after I test how's the battery performance

I'm the only one?!!! I would suggest you a book " English for dummies" apparently you can't read well, go to " scroll smoothness" section, most than half of the owners complained about the smoothness of the device out of the box, Damir franc a German reviewer even said it ALL HUAWEI DEVICES...

Same here, mine is laggy and choppy and stuttery, my brother's 150 $ Samsung j3 pro is way smoother than my 650 $ mate 10, I came from mate 8 and didn't feel a bit better Mine is alp-l29 build 132(c185)

Don't let Instagram run in the background I had the same issue, once I turned it off I got a better battery life
