I have this version and did factory reset etc. I still think the battery is poor in comparison to pretty much any Marshmallow rom. Max SOT I get is 6-7 hours, but it's random sometimes I get less than 5. With MM I'd typically get around 9-10 SOT. Sent from my HUAWEI NXT-L29 using Tapatalk

That's a fair comment, and I can see why a narrower phone with similar screen size would appeal to some. Also I guess it's a bit more pocketable. Personally tho I like 16:9 but guess I wouldn't rule out something slightly easier in the pocket. Xiaomi Chiron anyone...

I think the strategy behind 9:18 is that its different to what the last generation of phones have, it will look a bit different, so seem attractive. We have had super high res screens before for a while (LG G3 etc) but 9:18 is something new. Thing is we keep falling for it :-/ in a perfect...

I was using a 4.1 rom 321 or something like that and used the rollback from 4.1 process to 4.0 and installed the 211 rom

Came over the air without any sign up to any beta or anything like that, only thing I did was install the 211 rom a few weeks ago. From what I guess you need to be on 211 Rom for it to auto update. Android pay still works also.

Well the wait for this update has been dragging on for months. Good to see it's finally official. When are we getting 5.1 ;)

I recieved my OTA update today on from NXT L29636211 to b563 im in the UK with China dual sim international Mate 8 purchased from wonda mobile. Went very smoothly. Now enjoying official Nougat.
