As a work around, you can deactive auto-rotate with your phone on portrait, then turn it sideways to wtach the movie. The system will still be in portrait tough.

It IS based on the mentioned kernel. If this kernel is "affected" or not is still up for debate.

Yes, that's a known issue and you would know if you had searched for it. But I'll give you this one freebie: if you're still in 1.0, go to 1.1.. If you have SetCPU installed, uninstall it.
