The bug has already been identified. Arnova found that it is a problem with PCK (Pixel Camera Kit) which causes this random viewfinder lag on certain devices. It will no longer be a problem in the upcoming 7.4 version.

Yes. It's a random buffer bug that occurs on some GCam versions for certain devices. It is uncertain what exactly is causing it, and the only solution to fix it is to completely remove motion photo feature from GCam. Hopefully this bug won't be present in the upcoming 7.4 version. We will see.
