Thank you for all the help Danny, but I think my phone is toasted. I talked with HTC and they asked me to do a manual update by installing the HTC Synch Manager and connect the phone to the PC. Of course that didn't work because the PC couldn't recognize the phone as it is not successfully...

I followed this (drained the battery) and couldn't get it to boot into bootloader either. Do you think the original poster can fix? He did stated that he has 100% success. As of July 2013 anyway. :) And I wouldn't mind donating for his time. (or anyone that can help, for that matter) Thanks!!

Before I unlock the bootloader I did uncheck the 'Fast boot' box. I think the Volume buttons are ok because the phone boot differently with it pressed than without. Pressing both the Vol Down + Power buttons the phone will just boot into the green arrows circle. Pressing just the Power button...

When I was able to go into the bootloader screen, I saw a few available options, among them 'Reset factory settings' and restart (or reboot..) Is this what you have in mind if we are able to access the screen? Aren't there any other way? Anyone? Thanks.

Oh no..... First bricked phone, lol. No, I don't see any flash at the buttons. Yes, when power on as normal the phone vibrates for a couple secs then goes into that screen. Also, the progress bar at the bottom of the screen start moving (and turning green) from left to right. Then nothing else...

I have done that probably not less than 20 times. I will do again. I have tried both with and without the SIM card. Does it makes a difference? And yes, all my data/pics was wiped out. I thought when we root the phone the data would still be there... ouch! Until 2 years ago, I have always root...

This was a completely stock phone prior to last night. Then I unlocked the Bootloader following HTC instructions on their website. Everything went fine. I saw 'Unlocked' in the bootloader screen. The phone was working fine. This morning I saw the notification for system update. I downloaded the...

Could it be perhaps because we don't have the same phone?

I pressed and hold. Ok, let me retry. From the power-off status, I am to press and hold the Vol up button then also single press and release the power button. From phone off, press and hold Vol Up button then press and quickly release Power = does not do anything. From phone off, press and...

Thanks for the quick reply!! I forgot to also mention I did that too, Vol up + Pwr. When I did that, the phone vibrate for a second then goes into the same screen. The progress bar at the bottom goes from left to all the way to the right (filling in the green color) then stuck there. (I also...

HTC ONE (M7) Won't Boot Up Hi, I got the notification for system update on my cell. Downloaded and installed the 700MB+ file. On boot up it just go to the screen with the 2 green arrows that make a circle, and an arrow pointing down. The phone is not in charging status (as some had suggested...
