Create the folders manually, then install the apk. Remember: you must have root access.

Man, my wifi works again... I can't believe it. So far only Froyo could make my wifi work properly. Under Gingerbread, data connection silently went dead after a while - in every single case. And now it's ok, and faster than ever. Adi, you did some magic :) ---------- Post added at 10:51 AM...

I've just installed it together with GGL ROM. Installed Froyo, restored GGL nandroid, installed BlurHome3D as an update.zip, wiped data/cache, and voila... first boot with BH3D as default. Works flawlessly so far... sometimes I experience minor slowdowns when the phone works something in the...

Now there is hope for those having flashed full SBF with v6 bootloader on a green lensed Defy :)

"rescue" = "risk" :) Anyway... good news! It was one of the most promising projects IMHO. Froyo is still more stable on Defy green than Gingerbread. And Sense 2.0 suits Defy's specs well. Keep up the hard work.

Thanks for the hint, Walter, I've thought of that too. The only problem is: if I don't want to lose warranty, I have to flash back Froyo CEE which was our official update. Under Froyo CEE wifi never stops so the malfunction won't be reproduced. They will send the phone back to me saying...

Walter, is this mod based on the same theory as the original, Simplestas-made GBM? I mean: older (2.6.32) kernel version, newer Android build, "old" camera driver. I tell you why I ask: I've been having damned difficulties with WIFI on EVERY single ROM after installing GBM. After a few minutes...

No faulty hardware. It seems that if you use Gingerbread with the older (Froyo) kernel, sooner or later you'll run into this problem. Under stock Froyo I can easily download, say, more gigabytes without a glitch. I'v tried several GB ROMs (CM7, MIUI, Moto with GreenBreadMod) and all the time...

Damn... Now that we know it's possible to unlock the bootloader (in a very easy way) it's even more frustrating that we cannot get our hands on the tools :S

It's a logical step from Motorola if they don't publish the unlocker. It might cut the sales of Defy+ I'm curious whether they'll do it a few months later when Def+ will also be an "outdated" model (although - as it's proven - it has more potential than we would think from its pure specifications).

you're right... I'm seriously thinking of "bricking" my Defy and bring it to a Moto service... :S
