    The steps are fine. Although you dont need to flash the whole miui rom, instead you can just flash latest firmware for your region. Make sure you are using latest orangefox/twrp/los recovery.

    It is a known issue as of now. According to the developer these are the workarounds to solve it : Just make sure it's the same directory as when you've done it.     Yea, from version 3.0.0 onwards you cant restore backups made with older versions. So its better you use the older builds. Or can use original oandbackup app

    There is a legend if you tap on the info icon , but it doesnt have the icon we talked about. Ill ping him about this.

    i just asked the dev, he says it is the Number of apps that are updated since their last backup.

    it shows the list of all the installed apps on your phone. I have never seen any number on it though, can you post a screenshot?

    yes, it happens because of the app being down/upgraded itself.

    if you ignore the data part , restoring a newer or older version of app is just like manually installing it over the installed version. Oandbackupx does the same. in situations where installing a version of the app over another version of the same app isnt compatible , for example because of...

    imo none of the app shud be able to make a downgrade compatible if its incompatible by the other app itself. but still u can create an issue in github. maybe for such situations OABX can uninstall first automatically then restore, making it easier for the user. update : talked to the developer...

    I really have no idea why that happens, it does the same in my case. Maybe you can create an issue on github for it?
