People actually care about speaker volume? I don't think I use my speakers more than for just notifications. Well, maybe the occasional YouTube video. Otherwise, it is all about the headphone audio.

The Galaxy Note 7 is running the same Codec. It is a Snapdragon codec. If that is true, maybe I'll just go with the Note 7 and use my lesser brand headphones with them, and save up for a dedicated DAP (or make a cable for my Cambridge DacMagic XS Dac).
