Post [FIX] Nexus 7 ( 2013 ) grounding issue & improve Touchscreen performance

Just pulled it back apart and the connector is seated properly and secure, to the point that I had to use a spudger to pop it loose, so I don't think that's the problem. I followed your instructions exactly, but as I look at the tablet now, the foil is only touching the battery frame on the...

Post [FIX] Nexus 7 ( 2013 ) grounding issue & improve Touchscreen performance

I tried the updated one, putting a piece of cardstock beneath the cable and then wrapping it with aluminum foil, but it's actually made my touchscreen significantly less responsive. Any suggestions?

    Post Moto X Pro

I'm holding out hope that it'll have MotoMaker options, at which point I'll buy a Nexus 6 and slap a leather back on it. Sent from my XT1060 using XDA Free mobile app

    Post Nexus 7 Dash install

I think the biggest issue I'll have is the wood grain trim around the radio, which is the only reason I don't have an Intellilink/MyLink with Bluetooth in there already. Sent from my XT1060 using XDA Free mobile app

    Post Nexus 7 Dash install

So I read this and my first thought was "Over $7 grand in a truck worth $700? Dude has way more money than brains." Out of curiosity, I followed the link and read all 23 pages of that thread, and now I just think you've got more passion than brains...or you're a glutton for punishment. Either...

    Post [RECOVERY][TWRP 2.8.6.0-BigPart/TWRP 2.8.0.0-Non-BigPart]

Sorry, Matt, been working 14+ hours a day the last three days and I just wanted to actually put it through its paces and make sure nothing was broken. I haven't really flashed any roms with it because I'm staying with stock, but it did install with no issues and I was able to use it to flash a...

Post [ROM][FLO] Android 5.0 Lollipop lpx13d flashable pack

So I've had no issues getting root using SuperSU, but I vastly prefer CWM Superuser. I followed the same procedure I used to get root with CWM Superuser on 4.4.4 (flash SuperSU first, update binaries, and then choose the "Switch Superuser app" from the app's setting, followed by installing the...

Post Verizon Moto X Bootloader Not Unlockable (As Expected)

As a former GNex owner myself, I'd argue that it wasn't usable even in its prime...unless of course you LIKED being plugged in to charge 3-4 times a day, or not using your phone at all. Sent from my XT1060 using XDA Free mobile app

Just flash the latest one. To see the performance menu, under settings -> about tablet, tap the build number repeatedly until it tells you you're a developer, which will allow you to access the performance menu. Sent from my XT1060 using XDA Free mobile app

Post Nexus 7 (2013) Take Apart Repair Guide

Thanks for the awesome guide. I have my tablet apart and I'm getting ready to put it back together, but I notice that my replacement LCD/digitizer combo doesn't appear to have any adhesive on the inside edge. Do you sell a one-piece adhesive "decal", or is double-sided screen adhesive tape suitable?

Post [Q] Upgraded MZ600 loses 4g on ROM flash

YOUR pain? You have no idea how many hours I put into trying to figure out why data wouldn't work and then going through all the possible steps to make it work again, AND THEN writing everything up. ;) Sent from my XT1060 using XDA Free mobile app

Post [Q] Upgraded MZ600 loses 4g on ROM flash

That's my thread, and what Taylor says is spot on. All of these custom ROMs are built using proprietary files from ICS and the JB update screws everything up. It's a laborious process to get 4G working, but it's worth it. Sent from my XT1060 using XDA Free mobile app

Post [ROM] [Xoom] [4.4.4] TeamEOS - The Revival || Nightlies

I realize that the Google Now launcher is in the Play Store, but if BRD gives up on it, then it still won't work properly even if I install it from there. Does that better illustrate my point? Sent from my XT1060 using XDA Free mobile app ---------- Post added at 09:33 AM ---------- Previous...

Post [ROM] [Xoom] [4.4.4] TeamEOS - The Revival || Nightlies

I appreciate all of your hard work, BRD, but if I could respectfully ask that you not simply switch to Nova, it'd be greatly appreciated. Reason being, these guys can always install Nova from the Play Store and have it working, but if you just give up on Google Experience/Google Now launcher...
