The plot thickens as now i tried the wipe as described and its force closing on the new setup wizard im guessing im running out of options as i now cant get past the setup wizard.

Yes force stopped wiped data and rebooted but still as soon as device reboots i get the error google play store has stopped. Thanks for all your help guys it is appreciated, and is probably all that has stopped me throwing the thing at the wall.
