1+ implemented the 7T encryption in a nonstandard method. The usual encryption/decryption methods TWRP uses on Android builds doesn't work on the 7T (does on the other models)

Reinstalling your current version as a “local upgrade “ doesn't “reinstall” your OS (doesn't wipe anything). Just make sure you follow the Magisk installation steps so you don't lose root.

No wifi after rooting is usually due to flashing the wrong OOS version. Did you follow the steps here? https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-how-to-root-oneplus-7t-without-twrp.3979307/ There are a few posts on that thread about fixing the wifi issue

I show the same running services when not connected. Turn bluetooth on, go to System>reset options>Reset Wi-Fi, mobile, and bluetooth, reset everything, restart your phone. This will clear and erase ALL of your connections! Your mobile connections should rebuild themselves, but you might need...

Sorry, you're right. My mistake :( I was thinking of the pull down. The Bluetooth symbol at the very top shouldn't be on unless you're connected. Does that light go off when you toggle Bluetooth off?

Can you try this somewhere that has WiFi, even if it is just tethered to someone else's phone?

Is the Bluetooth symbol lit when Bluetooth is toggled off? It's supposed to stay on when Bluetooth is turned on even if you aren't connected to anything.
