V10.0.7.0.PDLMIXM Came Out Today For Daisy. It's a 266.7MB OTA package. Comes with March 5 2019 security patch as well as other undocumented (as always) fixes.

V10.0.3.0.PDLMIXM is Out with January Security Patch Today I received this small patch, only 71.3MB. Besides bringing this month's security update, it also brings the ability to show battery percentage on the status bar.

I didn't check it before upgrading. So I don't know if it changed or not. But that's OK, system is working fine.

A Brazilian user has reported that this update apparently changes the MAC address of our phones. Is this a bug or on purpose?

Another question, since I've downloaded this update from Polish servers, will I have to connect to Poland's VPN again to download future updates? Or the region makes no difference?

Will my phone remain eligible for future OTA updates? (The december patch for example)?

As many of you may already know, Xiaomi has began recruiting beta testers for Android 9 on the Mi A2 Lite, and is allowing applications up until November 18th, 2018. I've made my application and now am just waiting for them to approve me. But how long do I have to wait? Until Nov. 19th?

V9.6.11.0.ODLMIFF Came Out Today. This is a small update, weighing just 80.3MB. It adds the ability to use the fingerprint sensor to pull down the notification bar. The Security Patch Level Remains at November 1st 2018.

Looks like it's just 8.1.0 + August Patch. There's no changelog of any kind. It's completely stable, not sure why it's still a beta.

Thanks. It looks like the security patches come out at every 15th or 16th day of every month. I asked because Motorola takes several months just to release a single patch. Nice to see this is not the case with Xiaomi.

I've received my A2 Lite last week, it's a great phone overall. Has Xiaomi been fast with the updates for their Mi A1 and A2/Lite phones? Can I expect Security patches in a timely manner? This is my first ever Mi phone, after being a Motorola user since 2013.
