I have tried this a year ago and still to this day I'm using thermal paste it works amazing. I dropped my phone in salt water at the jetty and it was submerged for over 10 mins. Took the phone apart and dried it and reapplied the thermal paste again. the phone still works lg g3 is tough as ****.
