In my experience, without root the most effective app for my Samsung smart TVs has been AllCast. It's not great, but it has worked.

Sideloaded the .025 version and lost root. Think I did the full sideload instead of an OTA sideload. Do we know if the usual Magisk with SNOKE still works on a sideloaded November update Pixel 2, non-Verizon?

This doesn't seem to root for me using EMR options on my Pixel 2 (non Verizon). SuperSU is installed, but root checker fails. Did the cleanup as well, but no dice unfortunately.
