curious to know if it was possible to re-enable ?? or does It remove 4g and lte options leaving 3g ? Cant imagine there not being a hidden menu with options to enable usb modem etc .. Hate being test dummy on high price phones ..

if I unbrand my phone will this enable my tethering feature ? As of now it (havent tried personally) seems cricket has removed options to tether / hotspot.. im trying to pin point if this will re-install a fresh unbranded os with all options available. thanks n advance

Sent phone into Samsung and they have flashed a software update and updated PRL .. Waiting to get the phone back to see what software was installed. Hopefully they read the note sent in with it. I will be furious if they installed same software that messed it all up. Im counting on you Pablo the...

I shall follow up and see if / when Samsung has corrected this problem.. EDIT : No fix to the update as of yet !! Still got T-Mobile APN settings hard coded into the phone !!

CDMA Devices aren't that bad to flash to other carriers .. You do however need the SPC and/or 16 digit password to do so.. Some newer phones are locked down pretty tight .. Most older CDMA can be manually programmed and prl updated to preferred carrier

You would need to check around and see what local carriers use for frequencies.. you may get stuck on 1x if you don't .. it is possible to flash a cdma phone to different carrier its just not as easy as putting a different sim card in..

Do not use the upgrade tool from Samsung's website as it contains T-Mobile apn settings. This will not allow your phone to connect to 3g services and mms will not function fully. I found this out the hard way and Samsung's support is useless when trying to explain the issue !! After hours...

motorola .. they had it when the other guys didnt :D i was disappointed too when i looked into this more.. would have been a nice touch .. but then again so would a front camera and more ram and ... well time to get a beasty phone
