Post Do we have a way of Unlocking Lte bands yet?

hi guys, haven't had the chance to try myself the NV parameters change but i found this post which i hope can shade some light on the NV parameters and their significance, here is the direct link for the LTE parameters: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33234706&postcount=43 hope...

You can always try... ;) Just keep a backup of the original NV values..

Post Do we have a way of Unlocking Lte bands yet?

Hi, I thought of something, what if you change the values then back them up with NVBackup from engineering mode (#36446337# -> Qualcomm-> NV parameters) and after reboot restore them.. Can you give it a try?

Hi, not trying to add brands that don't exist, what I meant was that the way to add the bands is by writing the NV values onto the NV memory (with QXDM). our problem is that we don't have a driver to access the NV memory, I thought that we could take the driver from a similar device with the...

Post Do we have a way of Unlocking Lte bands yet?

As I understand from here https://www.qualcomm.com/products/snapdragon/processors/820 The LTE Modem is part of the snapdragon chipset (x12 LTE modem to be specific), is it possible to use a driver from a different device with that same modem in order to achieve the NV ram change through QXDM?

Hey nebtrx the op3 has a different Qualcomm chipset (820) from the op2 (810), I don't think that the driver is the same one...

Post Do we have a way of Unlocking Lte bands yet?

I read the whole thread, never saw the driver for ower OP3 device to use in QXDM. About the reset, I believe that we can make it work following this steps: 1.make a backup file with the right NV parameters using QXDM (even temporary) 2.go to engineers menu (a few posts back in this thread) and...

Post Add LTE Band 3 to OP3?

AFAIK there isn't yet a way, but I would suggest to follow the most active thread on the subject: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/help/unlocking-lte-bands-t3425871/page6 Hopefully something will come up..

Tried it, changed to foreign/China hardware and still didn't get Lte and I know that there is lte band 3 coverage... Maybe the only way is to make a RV backup file and restore from that...
