    Post [Rom][5.1.1] AOSP [11/14/2015][Z00A][Z008]

Hey, this is awesome. I've been wanting to do something like this but have never had the gumption to dig through like 30 github projects to get my bearings as to where to even start. Here you have just a small handful of source repositories that are close to another project, so it's not too hard...

Loving it. This is a great rom. For no good reason I'm digging it a lot more than cyanogen or pa. For all the people concerned about double tap to wake, check out gravity screen, it's actually better and available in the app store. i don't even think it requires root. I do have a minor bug...

    Post [MOD][FEB 10] MultiROM v33

I've been maintaining a guide as I have time. Arch has some issues though. Mostly it needs a new kernel. Speaking of which... Tassadar, I wonder if you could tell us where you got the kernel for your Arch image? Did you recycle an android kernel or use vanilla linux? In either case if you built...

Post [Guide] Installing Arch Linux (updated 11/4/2013) bluetooth+KDE

bluetooth I have bluetooth (almost) working. I've put instructions in the guide. They aren't really a final solution, but maybe people who are running gui's can tell me if they work. I know I have the hardware working because I can see my keyboard when I scan for it, but I can't figure out how...

Post [Guide] Installing Arch Linux (updated 11/4/2013) bluetooth+KDE

Thanks for the feedback :) I don't have arch on my pc at the moment, so it's not a given, but i think you are right that people are probably more likely to have arch if they are looking at this guide. I updated the guide with info on how to install the tools from AUR. Also added links to wicd...

Post [MultiROM] [LINUX] [How-to] Rom installers for sdcard

I put up a guide for getting arch working. It still needs work but it should cover the basics and i'll improve it over time. I started a new thread so i won't clutter up this one.

Post [Guide] Installing Arch Linux (updated 11/4/2013) bluetooth+KDE

Todo/Bugs Problems/Bugs/Todo The following is a list of things that need to be addressed or that I want to address. These things will be tackled in no particular order but hopefully over time the number bugs and problems will go down relative to the number of features I want to add. Feel free...

Thread [Guide] Installing Arch Linux (updated 11/4/2013) bluetooth+KDE

I've began to write up a guide for getting Arch usable on the Nexus 7. I just threw it up on google docs because I'm too lazy to try to do the wiki thing until it's more complete. Hopefully it is far enough along to get things rolling for people who are looking to experiment with arch. Anyway...

Post [MultiROM] [LINUX] [How-to] Rom installers for sdcard

you can edit it from within arch using "nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf". Or use vi instead of nano ;)

I haven't had much time to play with it on mine (grouper) yet but it does come with a /etc/X11/xorg.conf that didn't work for me. I commented out every line in the server layout section for "HDMI" in that file (by adding # to the beginning of each line and uncommented (remove the #s ) in from of...

Post Official Ubuntu for Nexus 7

I thought it was gone too but I found it http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/raring/release/ The installer is broken. Couldn't get it to work even by manually downloading the files. Manual fastboot works fine though

    Post [ROM/KERNEL] UNOFFICIAL CM10.1 + 3.0 Kernel for Nook Tablet [13/2/06 ALPHA]

I also got the "android.process.media has stopped" message after a clean install. I didn't wipe system but i did wipe data and cache. However that isn't the main issue. Many apps that work on the 1/02/2013 aosp don't work on this build. They come up with a blank screen and say warning the app...
