I had the same problem on my note 2 (low performance and a lot of lag) so i rebooted my phone entered recovery mod, and selected wipe data/factory reset and wipe dalvik. Then you can install the rom by OpenDelta and your phone would return smooth as before :) PS: that's the only way that worked...
