    That being said, how do we get this going for the 988U1? I have root working for R on the 988U1. Although attempting to boot into stock recovery on ZTJA sends it into a boot loop still working on that.

    I think people forget this is unreleased software and there are risks. It is not guaranteed to work. This comes with any software you do not get directly from the OEM.

    I haven't had any major issues. The back gesture does not work so the gesture navigation is not quite ready. It is actually pretty smooth and fluent. The battery has lasted a whole shift worth of Netflix.

    There is a line of code that needs to be changed prior to building AOSP. I have a build where it is working but the feature is a bit buggy itself. Haven't found any other way to enable it.

    I'm using a base ubuntu vm I built with 2 cores and 8gb ram. I used r11 if memory serves correct. I used the scripts from google and extracted from the factory image. The configuration I used is 21 (marlin-userdebug). I just used make -j8. Could careless about an update zip. And the factory...
