Hi guys.

I have been working on aso for sometime, and I must say it is really helpful in promoting your app. Especially choosing the right keywords can improve the rank of your app.

I applied aso to one of my apps named Wallhub, a wallpaper app and it got more than 500+ downloads in just 3 days. I think it is really exciting and good field to study as well.

Here is the link of the app :

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...k.wallhub.free

It would be great if you could review the app based on the design and UI , that can further help me to improve it.

Thanks

Regards

We found keywords to be one of the most important aspects in ASO.

We did a full review of the Google Play Store ranking of one of our apps that was first published in 2013 but sadly I cannot link to it yet because I am a new member.

I think the same! Did you try to translate your keywords into other languages? It may help you to promote your app and get wider audience.

Hope you'll have a possibility to post the links here someday. I'm a new member too

I can finnaly post links
Here is our analysis of the app ranking of one of our apps in the past 3 years.

About translations:
We first published the app with an english and german translation.

What happened was the following:
We got most of the traffic from Russia and the Ukraine, even though we didn't target these countries in any way. It came to a point were almost all of our downloads came from said countries. As soon as we realized that there could be a demand for our app ( a live wallpaper), we translated our description to russian, hoping that we would gain anything. The outcome: nothing. We did neither gain more downloads from Russia/Ukraine, nor did the description raise our daily downloads in any other way.

So what we at least can tell you is that you won't profit from translating the description AFTER publishing and AFTER the app has some momentum in the Google Play Store. That's only our experience of course, maybe someone else has something to contribute.

Hi friends, choose keywords that are popular among users, which helps to gain a large user base. Here are some methods about how to choose right keywords for your app.
1. Choose keywords that are popular among users, which helps to gain a large user base.
2. Cut connectors and stop words. Words like“a, the, and, of” occupy many spaces but make little significance for your keywords.
3. Put the important keywords in the front position, but if the keywords were put in the subtitle, do not make it appear in the keywords.
4. Don’t repeat keywords, for it only makes your keywords redundant, so make your keywords short and concise.
5. Analyze the keywords of the app in the top in the search box, and also analyze your competitors' keywords. And then build your own keywords bank.
6. Keep track of the keywords you pick. Keywords optimization is a everlasting process, so you should spy on the keywords you pick all the times and adjust them appropriately.

Hope this can help you~

Hi!
You should increase reviews. Users’ feedbacks influence in positions in the search results and don’t forget ASO. Try KeenMobi or Mopeak marketing agencies to promote your app.
Next, I recommend post the download link, website, landing page address on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram to create efficient social media campaigns around your app. Try to reach industry-related bloggers, write on forums, ask friends to share it on social media.
