It's always 12H345678... and usually $ fastboot devices shows the Serial Number of the devices connected, at least on Ubuntu it does.
In the first screenshot that's not the case.

06f is a chinese device, if it's actually a pro 5 well... that's the next pending question

Edit:
And there is more, do it. The guy claims to be a beta tester for the international firmware! In Flyme 5 there is no international firmware!
It's called global Beta, and I know this because I am in the MX5 global beta team, with 7 more people. And only the MX5 has a global Beta team right now.

IMO It's not the same than for your device (MX5 PRO ?), because my PSN start with 860.... I'm 100% sure it's a chinese model...
Serial looks alike 123ABCD45EFG ... No H Inside obviously (no 06 neither ...) but fastboot screen seems similar to the PSN from 1st page.

What exactly do you say? It's a Chinese phone in the screenshots or not.

I will ask around and try to get more information on the global Serial Number of the Pro 5

I can't confirm it's a chinese phone or not but I'm personnaly conviced screenshot isn't another device than pro 5. Could be 860 for Global and 861 for China, but 2 devices is much more restrictive to lead to a conclusion yet.
Anyway, I'm sure a letter in 3rd position doesn't apply to PRO 5, and 06 isn't the chinese ID code

I asked one guy who has a global Pro 5 and he responded super fast. His S/N starts with 86H.

I also asked another guy, and will ask more to be super sure about it. But this makes me believe for now, that I was right.

And that there is no change in the S/N policy at Meizu. Global phones have 12Hxxx....

So now I am very very sure that the phone in the screenshot is a Chinese phone! And not a Global One. However, best is if the guy who claims to be in the "international" Beta Team and has a global phone, responds here.

You are right, we can assume 861 is for China.

It's an international model bought from an official selling point in Europe and came with the international software pre-installed, and I also received international OTAs like anyone else. Before I entered the international beta team, the Flyme team asked whether I have the international model of the PRO 5, otherwise I wouldn't be able to flash their betas. I already confirmed with other people that this firmware works and indeed unlocks the bootloader on international models, but someone else who has the Chinese variant wasn't able to install it. I don't know about the meaning of the PSN and what could've happened with it, but I do know I have an international unit and that other people with an international unit can use this method to unlock their bootloader.

Thanks for explaining this.

I'm the guy i guess

Can you also confirm that it's your phone shown in 1st post ?
That would mean 861 is enough to identicate China version from International one.
