This is great news especially after the past...What was it? Three developers claiming to have unlocked the bootloader? If only I was a Dev then I could rack my brain and try to figure out how to beat anti-rollback to get back to lollipop.
Rather than unlocking the bootloader outright, there is a possibility we could use this to sign custom firmwares as stock. Just a thought.
Would it be possible to make a flashable stock MM ROM and then root it using TWRP (I guess it shouldn't use the system-less method in that case)? That would require modifying the kernel, which would set off secure boot. Gotta wait for efidroid por...
