Just wanted to mention that if you vehicle's steering wheel controls is based on a simple resistance circuit, then it can be connected directly to ATOTO with no need for Axxess aswc-1. My vehicle (2011 Subaru WRX) was in this category.
The ATOTO A6 Pro has line-level outputs (RCA outputs on the back), so if your vehicle has a separate amplifier, then you should probably be using those.
To use android auto do you have to use the Atoto USB dongle or can you just install the app on the head unit?
You don't need the dongle. You install Android Auto on your phone and Head Unit Reloaded App on the ATOTO....
