Sprint and Verizon uses CDMA while AT&T and T-Mobile uses GSM. So trying to use an unlocked S6 for Verizon won't work since unlocked versions are usually GSM. So nope. Problem is Verizon whitelists all IMEIs for phones that they'll "support." E...
I was able to go through all the steps, with a few hiccups, including accidentally wiping it clean, and I'm able to turn on the hotspot, but a device connected to it can't connect to the internet. Ended up using the ROM XT1526_Surnia_5_1_1_Lollipo...
So to verify what I'm pretty sure of, the only S6 that will work on Verizon is an official Verizon S6 with the logo on the back. I have a guy trying to tell me an S6 unlocked from Samsung will work on Verizon but I'm pretty sure that's incorrect....
