Sprint and Verizon uses CDMA while AT&T and T-Mobile uses GSM. So trying to use an unlocked S6 for Verizon won't work since unlocked versions are usually GSM. So nope.

I was able to go through all the steps, with a few hiccups, including accidentally wiping it clean, and I'm able to turn on the hotspot, but a device connected to it can't connect to the internet.
Ended up using the ROM XT1526_Surnia_5_1_1_Lollipo...
So to verify what I'm pretty sure of, the only S6 that will work on Verizon is an official Verizon S6 with the logo on the back. I have a guy trying to tell me an S6 unlocked from Samsung will work on Verizon but I'm pretty sure that's incorrect....
OK...that's better. At least I know it can be done. It's very tricky using ODIN on this locked bootloader. Mind if I add your method to the post in the other thread. We can make it a power post for free unlocking!!
