So maybe it would be easier to have a short FAQ section in the op, which only has to be typed once, instead of constantly repeating that people should search. That might help some but still there will be people that will "ask" anyways because no ...
As for the volume slider, I want it too. And hide the Nav keys - you can expand desktop (enable it in power menu options) and have nav keys in power menu. This is a great volume control app for the Kindle Fire :)
