If you can boot into TWRP kfu will recognize it.. if not then you should mount it in TWRP...
Yep use kfu and install twrp... then flash stock software. After wiping everything of course... that will erase twrp and root... also wipe the twrp folder of your kindles sdcard..
There would not be so many 'bricked' threads if ppl read more....
I believe what fiddlefaddle meant is that in case something happens (e.g. his current rom won't boot) and he needs to start over - he can install the rom he has on the sd card. That's of course assuming he can still access recovery. Once that's do...
