Hello,
I am not using this forum active but i have run across with this chinese alternative rom which alibaba group make to compete with ios and miui i guess.
Rom 4.4 based (possible aosp based they build their framework on it)
using it for one ...

Gps is an absolute must for me for my commutes, sticking to original 4.8.8 for now. BTW, is there a custom kernel for miui.... The original is eating up battery pretty quickly

they said at their forum get to the safe mode then change lockscreen settings or pattern then reboot to normal to change lockscreen options for now

nope as I said mostly aosp based. so you can use s-pen via s-pen add on. or apps like fooview
