Motorola being a Google company this is a bit of a contradictory move. Google haven't allowed SD cards in their Nexus devices for a while now because of worries related to failures, slower read and write etc, but here they are using an SD card...

The latest iFont has a workaround for this. I'm happily back to my custom font :)
I think by now it should be pretty clear than on Android the only way to get prompt updates is to go for a Nexus (and I find that a double-edged sword, with Google often not doing enough testing or rushing new versions out of the door before they'...
