did you verify the md5 to make sure your file downloaded fully? It could just be a bad/incomplete download.
Also, try mounting/unmounting system in twrp.

something was wrong in /system partition..
after i wipe /system.. eve...
i need some help, using this 1/2/3/4 step root method...
get root using kingroot and later switch to supersu/twrp
what about kingroot, can we uninstall it/get rid? it's goes automatically by supersu or we need something to do
or just leave things...
answer is probably simple, but sad for asus... they don't care about customers
